Gilbert is a social entrepreneur, innovator and influencer. He is passionate about fundraising, football, music, and helping young people. Gilbert has over 20 years experience in marketing, communications, law, fundraising, and philanthropy. Gilbert has spent the past decade involved in virtually every aspect of fundraising, including major gifts, corporate fundraising, bequests, and crowd funding. He has worked in senior roles at the Australian Cancer Research Foundation and JDRF Australia Type 1 Diabetes Research. He joined the Foundation of the Northern Sydney Local Health District as its new CEO in September 2018.
